Artist’s Notes
Our cabinets, entertainment centers, sideboards, shelves, etc are “made-to-order” according to the customer’s specifications. We design the piece in close collaboration and communication with the customer. We then provide proportionately-accurate drawings as part of the quotation process and pricing. The customer knows what they are getting and I know what to do. The price is fixed and my work is guaranteed.
My construction is typically all solid-wood construction unless otherwise specified. Occasionally high quality birch plywood is integrated for structural integrity although not visible.
We employ time-honored, tried and true construction techniques that include mortise-and-tenon joinery, elegant dove-tailed drawers, hand-drawn coves and edge detail. Cut no corners. No shortcuts.
Solid Cherry Entertainment Center
This commissioned piece is a great example of old with new. It features solid cherry construction with raised panel sides, book-matched raised panel front doors, and an art-deco inspired 4 inch hand shaped and formed cove crown.
